Pear Park's 2023-2024 Unified Improvement Plan development process has involved multiple stakeholders. At the district level, the strategic plan and D51 administrators have provided guidance and resources for building administrators, including Pear Park's principal and assistant principal to leverage in the development of the UIP. D51 has aligned professional learning to the strategic plan for administrators and that professional learning contributed to the improvement strategies. D51 has also provided support and opportunity to work with school teams to access, analyze and disseminate information on various school-level data sources including CMAS, DIBELS, NWEA, CoGAT, Panorama, Dream Box, Lexia and Student/Family Surveys. At the school level, the Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Instructional Leadership Team meet bi-weekly to review and engage in quarterly trainings to analyze data and reflect our current practices to identify areas for refinement to the goals, systems, structures and practice that guide learning and school operations. This collaborative work and data review directly contributed to the direction of our UIP. We continue to actively communicate with and recruit families and community members to collaborate and engage in this work with us to determine school priorities. We provide for quarterly School Accountability Committees as one avenue to do so. We also work in collaboration with community stakeholders to provide programming and family engagement events and leverage the opportunities to gain feedback on school improvement efforts. Going forward, we look to expand family engagement opportunities for our community to to recruit, garner and capture additional feedback to inform school priorities and the UIP. Collaboration between Pear Park stakeholders, D51 and the community resulted is a UIP that is representation of active participation, engagement, and voice from stakeholders at multiple levels.
